Boom, to the heart. I just received my power bill for this month…298 dollars. WoW! That is 120 dollars more than the HIGHEST bill we have ever had. Hmmm…could staying home and cooking instead of going out really be costing us MORE than eating out? Plus, it has been extremely hot here…over 98 for almost a month straight. This will be a considerable hit to the old wallet. I have done everything I know to do to seal up our windows and doors, and various other things to save energy. We do not own the house we live in, so I cannot make “structural” changes. Man, this stinks. This will cut into our debt re-payment. Yuck.
