Charity Spotlight 1: Child Abuse Prevention

On November 19, I wrote a post about a desire that I had to do a series of articles about worthy charities. I have received some great responses, and I will be highlighting one charity per day through out the month of December. Thank you for your responses, and if you have a charity that you would like to highlight, please read my original post, and get in touch with me.

The Simple Dollar provides some great information about a very worthy cause, The Child Abuse Prevention Center of Dallas County, Texas. The Simple Dollar did a wonderful job of writing about The Child Abuse Prevention Center. I’d encourage you to read TSD’s post, and consider making a donation of your time, your money, and/or your prayers. Please click links for more information.

(Full disclosure: I am not affiliated, in any way, with any of the charities that I will be mentioning. I just wanted to do something “more” with my blog than just talk about my own money, my own situation, etc. There are only 3 things you can do with money: Spend it, Save it, or Give it. I’m good at the first two, and I want to be better at the third. I will be donating to each of the charities that I profile, and thus “putting my money where my mouth is…”)
