I have some great news. My wife and I are going to have another baby! The baby is due in April, so I’m sure I’ll be doing a lot of blogging about “baby stuff” between now and then. Our daughter is 7 and our son is almost 4, and they’re both really excited about the idea of having a baby around the house. I’ll have much, much more to say about the baby (and how this news will affect our finances!) in the days to come, but I just wanted to write a quick post and share our awesome news! Yay!

We’re so excited! Glad it’s not, “No Children Needed.”

Your news sends me years back to when I learned of my 3rd child. I would like to share some wonderful truth with you about your current situation. A wonderfully, sweet senior citizen shared this news with me at the local grocery store, when she saw I was with my 3rd child.
You are very lucky. You are about to enter Chaos. You can have as many kids as you like after this and it won’t make any difference.
When she spoke those words to me, I had no idea what she was talking about. As time marched on and I see my beautiful, loud and lovable children and watch other families with 2 or even 1 children, I realize how lucky I am. God has blessed me with all of them. Whether I have 3 in my house or they are all home with friends, it is the same as 3. Should some be gone and I am left with 2 it is so easy. 1 is almost insanely easy.
Welcome, to the good life. For you, your wife and your children 3. Large families, large hearts, great world.
