I understand the pressures of having so many irons in the fire. I haven’t been able to devote nearly as much time as I envisioned when I started EverybodyLovesYourMoney 4+ years ago. In the early days we were all blogging like crazy. You’ve kept up the pace much better than I have. I haven’t posted nearly the quantity and quality that you have over the years but I’ve still enjoyed having a conduit to share my thoughts. If you have to slow the posting down a bit, don’t sweat it. The important thing is that you do what is right for you.

Wow, for a moment there before I read the edit, I panicked a bit. You’re a very bright spot in my day. I’m glad you’ve decided to stick around.

I do understand the need to free up some time. My husband and I write an ezine and it can be ‘just one more thing’ in a hundred things that needed to be done yesterday. I concur with the former commenter that you don’t owe us a certain number of posts each week. Please keep us posted as to what you’re doing, many of us will follow whatever you choose to do.

I have a recurring scene playing in my head at times. Remember the movie “Little Big Man” with Dustin Hoffman? When I find it’s time to move on from a project or interest, when the subject is played out to my satisfaction, an old, quavery little voice in my head says, “…and that was the end of my_______period…”. Makes me laugh and also asks the question, “are you done with that, really? Do you feel complete?” If the answer is yes, you can happily move on without regrets.

Good luck in all you do, you inspire us and we’re extremely proud of your accomplishments and aspirations. And thanks for the excellent blog, too.

Funny, I just posted something similar last night about having too many things going on and needing to get rid of a few of them.

Once there are too many things going on, the important activities get dragged down amidst a gazillion less-important ones.

I have the same problem letting go of things, but I’m thinking I’ll need to do that with some of my things, too.

Anyway, long answer to say that I’m glad you’ll be continuing this one.
