My husband and I thought the same thing. We sold a business and moved to Naples, FL. We didn't like it at all. The people were incredibly old. The place had a retirement vibe. We lived in a neighborhood where the houses went from $500k to $5M. Of the 50 homes on our street, only 3 were full-time residents. The place was like a ghost town. Even though my husband loves the beach, we got tired of the beach being the only thing to do. Realize that it may not be all you think it's going to be.
