To many times we look for ways to "deceive" ourselves so that we will not spend money. In order to become debt free, we must focus on a higher goal that we wish to achieve rather than think of all the ways we could enjoy that new thingamajig. We still have a long way to go, but thanks for the inspiration! I found that I needed to start out with the little tricks, and that once I had gotten used to the more frugal choices, living that lifestyle became easier.
