I'm so glad I found you because my 7 year old ALSO wants a playhouse (and I welcome the idea of all of her toys being OUTSIDE, ha). I googled for some ideas and found you - you are ahead of me but your photos are exactly what I was envisioning for my first steps, although I think I am going to make ours just 8' x 8' without a porch.
